Damn You Lego
I have said this before but seeing this Lego creation just annoyed me to a new level. Wave a 'Stargate' in my face and expect me not to notice? Screw you Lego. I could have never built something like this with my childhood blocks. We had two shapes - square and rectangle - and maybe clear windows and a door shape. I was so screwed creatively. Sure I could build a house or an office tower but it couldn't have round corners. Any 'people' that inhabited those dwellings had to come from the fine people at 'Playmobile'. It just isn't fair.

Agreed, sir. Might as well have tried building Prometheus out of Lincoln Logs. Bastards!
Oh God, don't make me remember Lincoln Logs - "Let's see me try to make anything other than a CABIN!" GRRRRRR
TWO SHAPES! TWO! I just can't let it go. It will bother me forever and I was a member of the Lego Jr Builders Club for the nice HOUSE I built. How low were their standards back then?
Even worse, did you know that they now make pieces that can connect Lego to K'Nex? AAAAGGHH I would have given my leg to have those. The things I could have built!
What you just told me made my head explode, Kate.
Lincoln logs and erector sets in my day...cripes...
Hey, look at it this way: whoever built that Lego "Stargate" spent untold hours at it, never ventured out, probably forgot his meals, learned no words except technical ones. You had a life! A normal childhood! Don't regret it.
Childhood is where you learn the art of frustration, and knowing how to let go of it. Knowing this that is just awesome. The most imaginative thing I build with Lego was a Viking longboat. Mostly 8pin(rectangle) and 4pin(square)peices, took me an hour or two.
My question is where did he get the chevron symbols from?
Oh I am sure they have a 'chevron kit' out there. Stupid stupid modern day Lego.
Stop motion Lego Stargate en Francais? Ouais.
