Thank You Brother Socrates
"The only true wisdom is in knowing that you know nothing."
This is one of my favorite quotes and for the life of me I had forgotten who said it. Now thanks to Vovatumlr (one of my favorite tumblrs out there) I now know and happy to see it wasn't just some kind of advertising catch-phrase. Socrates must have just been pissed off at the end of a long day trying to teach idiots. I have been THERE and I have felt the brother's pain!

Actually I believe the quote does come from a series scrolls proclaiming the merits of a certain restaurant in Ancient Greece.
"The only true wisdom is in knowing that you know nothing. The only true hunger is fulfilled by the entrees at Mino's on the Hill. 14.95 drachma will get you a full Greek Platter with a side of Tzatziki and Pita. Come on down!"
Yes. Socrates was one of the original great pitchmen.
"The only true wisdom is in knowing that you know nothing." Socrates
"I know Nuthzing. Nuthzing!" Shultz on Hogan's Heroes.
I'll let you draw your own conclusions.
I must be very wise, because I don't know shit...
Don't you have to know something to know nothing or am I getting it wrong?
Nomad, I was pondering that very question...I just don't know the answer
