An Open Message To All Internet Users Except Those Who Follow My Blog

You leave me hanging at 449? I can understand going to 450 or as far as 452 before inching back to below the milestone mark but just hanging at 449 mocks me and all I do.

I asked for your pity once. I will never do so again.

If I had any power over you, Internet (blessed be his webs and tubes) I would use it to make your life uncomfortable. But I am just a small greedy cog in an immense machine so why bless me with what is my DUE, right?

You forget Internet. I know all about you and your buddy, the computer.

I was there when you were a pathetic green screen with only OREGON TRAIL to play on it. I was there when your 'masters' chess program was so ridiculously easy to beat I often left ending the game to others because you bored me so.

I lived with dial-up and the remarkably slow speed of porn downloads in those days.

I would leave music and comics to download over the weekend and sometimes I would be rewarded come Monday morning - sometimes not.

But I survived all those 'beta' times and now have the world at my fingertips at faster than light speeds. I can create a body of work that I can be proud of. I have made many friends and extended myself and my 'brand' further than I ever thought I could.

Isn't that worth ONE MORE FUCKING FOLLOWER!!! Why can't I be in the 450 Club? I already had patches and jackets made.
