From To Kill A Mockingbird

One of the great scenes in movie history and one I have committed to memory. I would love to deliver that speech about how 'Bob Yule FELL on his knife' on the stage. Such a great movie and this scene gets me every damn time. You see a racist man find his humanity which gives us all hope that people (other than Trump and Roseanne) can see the truth about the races. We are ALL passangers on Starship Earth and we need to find a way to be kinder to each other. No one is better than anyone else. Character is what separates the good people from the bad ones.

One of the films that justifies film making. Character seems to be in short supply these days, but I think it's more like too many people of bad character have the limelight, and shout the loudest.

I agree. But I am ready for some simple decency for awhile now. Those are the times I want to go back to.

That would be really nice. Decency and respect.
