We didn't have the Internet to distract us back in the day so most of the kids I knew were into music and I can guarantee that most all of us have a few albums by this groups in our collection of vinyl. Trooper was the very first concert I ever saw at the Keystone Center in Brandon Manitoba. Hot Shots the album just came out and it was HUGE. I know by this time they will be sick of singing those songs but for the elderly like myself I am sure they will work up the enthusiasm one more time.
Platinum Blonde was one of the first big Canadian groups of the video age. You can see it might not hold up today but at the time this was a cutting edge combination of music and video. Our elder didn't get it but this was OUR ROCK BABY!
And of course Cheap Trick was the best. Live in Budokan was my frist live album and I would sing "I Want You To Want Me" and cheer like the Japanese did all the time. Great stuff.

I was a big Chilliwack fan myself. Man, that Regina gig is the Parade of the Golden Oldies, eh?
At least I would have something in common with the women that would go there.
