Honduras Crisis
I was just watching a news report about the political crisis in Honduras were President Manuel Zelaya was deposed by a military coup and forced at gun point to leave the country. Now I know little about the situation aside from media reports but it seems to me that when you are kicked out of the country AT gunpoint and not SHOT ON SIGHT by the general who just booted you then that needs to be looked at as a GOOD thing. If Zelaya was another corrupt Central American leader then he got off lucky. If he is a good man pushing reforms in his country he also got off lucky. You remember a time when the only way these coups ended was with the death of the previous boss. Am I wrong to see this as progress?
