What Time Period Other Than Now Would You Most Like To Live In?

I always had a fondness for France during the time of Cardinal Richelieu and the Musketeers as portrayed in the book, 'The 3 Musketeers' by Alexandre Dumas. Those guys just had style. They dressed cool and carried swords around with them that they actually USED on a regular basis to do something other cut their bagettes with. The only time when being French was actually a cool thing.

I'd pick Europe between the world wars.

Ok this is why I have started reading your blog - I spent all of ninth grade summer in a cape after reading that book (in front of a table fan so it "flapped in the gusts of wind")(It's cool that I had a cape, it was red and had embroidery near the edges)

I always felt I was born in the wrong time. I should have been alive in medieval times. I clearly was born for old fashioned war.

On the other hand I like indoor plumbing... yeah I'm good.

That is the thing that would keep me from actually going back in time. The whole 'toilet' situation. I would have to invent the flush toilet the day I arrived and if that changes the course of human history in a negative way then I can live with that.

I am not a savage. I do not poop in a bucket or by the side of a road. Though the poops you have while camping are glorious.
