These are alternate posters for movies that didn't but could have existed if everyone back then was out of their minds. I love the discussion of alternate casting choices and some of these are really far out there. Check the complete set here. I think the MATRIX re-imagining is my favorite.

Those things are beyond brilliant.
I think I'm in love with "The Matrix" premake the most. It feels so much like a movie that would be made during that time period the away you've set up the poster. A dystopic action film would fit into theaters well after something like "Soylent Green" was released. Not to mention the cast selection is perfect Bruce Lee's natural martial arts, Sidney Poiter's grace under pressure and Peter Sellers void personality. It's perfect!
Mifune as Obi Wan... How can you go wrong there.
Speaking of which, why are there no Asians in Star Wars. Plenty of Asian names, no Asian actors.
