I wouldn't have survived the late 50s without my trusty Mattel Tommy Gun and Marx Zorro flintlock pistol.

I had a wicked two gun rig to hold my silver colts that you could open up and put silver bullets into. I also had the shell from a single shot bazooka. All the kids did because our dad's brought them home for us to play with. Basically a hollow tube that still had the sites and trigger attatched. Cowboys and Indians and Bazooka's was our game.

Carefree days of youth...

These days such a scene would likely result in the local SWAT team being called out.

Paladin, that's no joke. It happened to some friends of mine who were getting ready for halloween. The cops had them all cuffed and on the ground (with liove weapons pointed at their heads) before determining that their firepower was non-lethal.

This is a joke:

What is this?:

Clipclop. clipclop. clipclop. clipclop.

BANG!

Clipclop. clipclop. clipclop. clipclop.

It's an Amish drive-by shooting.

Yeah, the Bazooka guy was always my favorite when playing with army men. The machine was next, then the hand-grenade guy.
Like the joke, MD, and Paladin, between 5 and 12 yrs old or so, we all had at least 5 or 6 play guns, robots that shot things, atomic cannons, battery-driven pom-pom guns, grenades that you could put caps in,.......!!
