Quote Of The Day - Star Trek
So this is what the Milky Way looks like when there are no annoying city lights to obstruct the view. To quote Dr. McCoy from Star Trek “In this galaxy there’s a mathematical probability of three million Earth-type planets. And in the universe, three million million galaxies like this. And in all that, and perhaps more…only one of each of us.”

Cool post, sir!
Love the quote. Dr. McCoy is one of my heroes.
People always underestimate how important McCoy is to the success of 'Star Trek'. McCoy's role as the 'emotional' part of Kirk (as opposed to Spock being the 'logical' half) is what makes the show something more than just a science fiction adventure show. The confict between the two halves has an emotional resonance that has connected with audiences for the past 40 years.
