What The Hell Henry Ford?
Are you telling me that the 1923 Model T only came with HALF a steering wheel? That is not a fun afternoon drive with my family. That is a lawsuit! How am I suppose to control this beast of a vehicle that moves at speeds in upwards of 20 miles per hour with only HALF a steering wheel?
See, this is what kills all the time travellers. They all take a visit to the early 1920s to drive one of the first mass produced vehicles available to the general public and boom, they are killed. Of course, they all die in car accidents while driving these Model Ts. Coincidentally all of the accidents happen after the driver lost control coming down a mountain road. Damn you half steering wheel!
Also, look at the interior. I understand functionality but where is the love? Where is the style?

A simple rundown from a Car and Driver article: "The oddest aspect of the car is the epicyclic gearbox that was inspired by the British automotive engineer, Frederick Lanchester the principles of which are still used on automatic transmissions. The center pedal engages reverse, the left engages low when depressed and high on being released whilst the right operates the transmission brake; a hand throttle governs speed."
Wow, that is some great information and further supports my dangerous driving theory. Who could operate one of these death mobiles?
If the half steering wheel was turned upside down, then you wouldn't think the same (because actually it would look cool).
Yes, that would look cool. Why didn't anyone ever think of that.
