I loved it. The Classic department actually had their own mummy and I got to be in the room when they were unwrapping it. I also took a senior level class that taught the history of the Roman Empire just by the coinage. You can tell alot from the gold or silver level in a coin. I found all that kind of stuff fascinating. I wrote a really good paper at a lower level course and the proff asked me to join his advanced class. He was in his 80s, the dictionary definition of a Univercity Professor and he would talk to me about Roman history and government. Sent me on the search for books that lived in the bowels of the library system. I loved it all. I miss it actually. Good Question.
You're imprisoned on an asteroid for the rest of your natural life. Beyond the usual supplies to sustain you, you are allowed five movies to entertain you in your isolation.
The border of Austria and Switzerland. In fact I want those orphans from the Sound of Music to run by my house singing everyday. I love Saltzberg and Vienna. Austria, old world Canada.
I forgot to tell you, I went to university when I was 45. There is an advantage to going when you are older. I planned to be an archivist. I love ancient history too. If I hadn't had a family I would have become an archaeologist. It sounds like you would enjoy that also. Go dig us some ruins, Kal.
Sara - Stan Lee, the creator of Spider-Man and so many other great comic book characters. He never tires of telling the stories from the old days and he still has the twinkle in his eye.
Sebastian - Wendy's used to have their workers wear these pimp hats and one night I grabbed one off the head of the guy at the drive thru window. That was a sweet lid.
I forever stand vigilant to protect this planet from the myriad of forces that are always against us. Be it the octopus, zombies, aliens or the robots my team of human agents, and our feline allies, circle the globe in a never ending struggle for human freedom.
I learn all I can on every subject that interests me. I especially enjoy ancient history because in the past there are valuable lessons to be found. Also, if I ever get my time machine to work properly, it would be good to know a bit about possible destinations and what to expect when I get there.
I greatly appreciate beautiful design. Be it manufactured or found naturally I am fascinated by the process of invention. I am attracted to the unique, the strange, the haunted. I like to share what I find on this blog.
And not let us forget the 'Cephalopod Menace' who, if allowed to, would wrap their tentacles around all that is good and pure in this life and crush it until it remained no more. They are creatures of pure spite. Hate is all they know. Death is all they do. They are our most ruthless and determined enemy.
So we fight. Selena has the celebrity contacts, the cat is ruthless and without pity, Roosevelt's ghost has the experience and I do the wetwork.
Fighting for the future of the planet doesn't have to be a chore, however. We can take the time to appreciate all that is cool in this world even as we cut the octopus into bite sized chunks.
This is the reason there has always been and must forever be, a Cave of Cool. Be sure to wipe your feet before you enter.

Did you enjoy university? What was your favorite class?

Which ones would you pick?
Legends Of The Fall
Dr. Strangelove
Golden Voyage Of Sinbad
Mask of Zorro
Donnie Darko
Youre allowed to emigrate to just one country. Where do you go and why?

I meant all the best things about Canada with old world European charm.
If you don't have your Masters, you should go back. Maybe get a Phd. I loved university too. I didn't finish, but it was wonderful.

But but...they are always haunted, those ruins. I've seen enough Scooby Doo episodes to know that.
If you could have any superpower, but just for one hour, which would you want, and what would you do with it?
Time travel. I wouldn't mess up the timestream too much. Just gather up some toys and talk to a few people.
If you could have an afternoon with one author, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
What's your favorite hat you've ever worn?
