I Would Kill To Have A Friend To See This With

They (whoever they are) really just need to bring first-run movies into the home, for like $20 - $25; about double the price of a movie ticket. As much as I love seeing new movies, I fucking hate going to the theater with screaming kids, assholes on their cellphones, hipster douchebags, disgusting sticky seats, and rape-me-in-the-ass concession prices. I would gladly pay that much to see a movie on opening night from the comfort of my own CLEAN, COMFORTABLE home.

I hear ya. I have been saying that for years. When I watched Batman Begins at home I thought that was brilliant. I had 24 hours to watch it as many times as I wanted. It would increase their take on opening night. I am like you. I don't like the crowds or the grubby audiences, most who I want to kill. So let's save some lives and get our stit together.

Hell, we would rant and each other all day long if we were real time friends.

I have best luck at midnight shows here opening night. The people there want to be there, and no kids.

Sounds like a plan for me.

..you forget the ignorant clown sitting a few rows back coughing their phlegm and plague loaded breath down on you all evening. The last time I went to a cinema I and my whole family came down with Swine Flue which didnt kill me but at times I thought it was going to....

Like Jaime said....find us a way to watch first run movies at home. I can order movies that are 3 months old and should be able to do the same with a movie the day it is released.
