Erik Johnson Illustrator said...: Huh. I would thought President Obama had already been awarded "Person of the Year". Perhaps I was just mistaken. This isn't exactly a flattering picture though. He looks so cold and grey.

What I'd like to know is how come Santa Claus has never been awarded Person of the Year? You'd think someone who travels to every house on the planet in less than eight hours would at least qualify for a world record to say nothing of his mission of charity and goodwill which ought to at least get some kind of recognition. Dr. Theda said...: I was just informed that my nerve medication will start being an "out of pocket" expense... Thanks to "Obama-Care"... they already cut my food stamps drastically... so I am still loosing weight... at less than 130 lbs. as is... My small disability check (Around $500.oo) covers the bills and leaves very little else to survive upon for the rest of the month....
...at this rate I may have to resort to "criminal activities".... Something that I have refused to give in to ... Congress was partly to blame, since the GOP reduced funding to the State Dept. in 2010, common knowledge, (acknowledged by Rep. J.Chaffetz (R) Utah). Politicians suck. DrGoat said...: Short story. My best friend and I met on the steps of our high school back in '64. We had a giant argument about politics. He was a staunch republican and liked Barry Goldwater. (Not a bad guy), and I was for Johnson (a pretty big a**hole in retrospect). We met again at lunch, in a nutshell, he became my best friend for 44 years until he passed away a few years back. My wife and I still get misty when we think of him. So we can all disagree and remain civil and respectful. I see that here, in the comments of fellow humans. That's what needs to happen out there. It's a nice dream. Ok, I'm done, gotta go back to work.
PS I think Tucson has the worst drivers in the country. Especially around now. Almost got killed three times coming to work this morning.; December 20, 2012 at 7:05 AM
