The Jade Rabbit Lands In The Sea Of Rainbows

China’s first robotic moon rover 140-kilogram (300-pound) “Jade Rabbit" rover separated from the much larger landing vehicle early Sunday, around seven hours after the unmanned Chang’e 3 space probe touched down on a flat, Earth-facing part of the moon leaving deep tracks on its loose soil, state media reported Sunday, several hours after the country successfully carried out the world’s first soft landing of a space probe on the moon in nearly four decades.

Well this pretty much seals it. After the fall of the American empire we are now in the Century of China. I give it 15 years before we see a Chinese man and woman on the surface of the moon. It's a huge achievement for a country that is ramping up it's space program where Russia and the US are making huge cuts. When they take over the high ground of space you will all regret it. Chinese TV is not as much fun as you would think.

Meanwhile Iran just launched a monkey into space and retrieved him safely. I remember that. It was called the 1950s.

I hope I'm dead before the Chinese take over the world. Might be close, though.

You got a point. I... was waiting for Canada to take over the world, but not holding my breath on that one.

It's best to have 'the Man' be Chinese; as mentioned, the food'll probably be better anyways.

And, in regards to the '50s comment, the same is true for China.

"It was called the 1960s."

Curious, I'm wondering just how soon they'll discover the Nazi strongholds up there..?

Well of course the Nazis will kill them and return to earth and the prophesy foretold in the film IRON SKIES will come true. Or we can hope. Nazi from the Moon was a great movie. They needed to go more Batshit crazy than the did.
