I Think My Tumblr Got Hacked
If that is the case then a source of many of my images that I love to search for will be dried up. So frustrating that I can't log into my page. Can you imagine if this happen to my CAVE OF COOL page? I would just shoot myself to end my misery.

That sucks. I hate the fact that there are people out there who have nothing better to do than mess with someone else's blog, email or whatever social media outlet just for the hell of it. Those people are just sad. Try creating something or contributing to the whole instead of just picking away at others creative outlet.
Somebody tried to hack my account today too and I got locked out of it. When you go to login does it say "time to change your password" (or something like that)? If it does, then click on that, then click on "reset password" in the email they send. When you do that, it'll take you to the page where you have to put in a new password and that should clear it up.
I got that same message but I can't get to the gmail addy that I first used all those years ago when I first got on tumblr. It's very frustrating. Now I have to re-register or get on pininterest of something. I got spoiled with all those great tumblr images.
That sucks. But can't you just get a new tumblr account? Then you're back in biz!
Yeh...but all the pages I follow brought me good stuff. Starting all over collecting those resource will be a pain in the ass.
Alright, so I did some snooping and it turns out that back in 2013, there was a security breach and hackers got access to passwords for some accounts, but Tumblr didn't find out until three years later (top notch security, that) and required everyone affected to change their passwords.

An email from them explaining that would have just been lovely dovey. Fortunately, it looks like the hackers never used the passwords, probably because there's nothing to wreck.
But if you do create a new Tumblr, Cal, don't forget to follow fuckyeah-nerdery. ;)
Done. Thanks for that update. Sucks to lose all those sights but keeps me from having to clean it up. But I am missing all those great images that I can collect in an hour. It's my bread and butter.
