There was a time when Zellers was the greatest toy store in Canada, especially at Christmas time. They took a whole 1/4 of the store and stuffed it with toys of all types. And when certain toys ran out they replaced them right away. The selection of action figures was beyond great especially in Canada. Sadly Zellers was replaced by Target and Target failed quickly because everyone on Canada missed Zellers. Especially old people missed it because they had a café in every store that was always serving only the elderly. If you were under 65 and tried to eat there they would kick your punk ass. But damn Zellers had great toys.

Zellers had a GREAT restaurant in Brandon. I used to take my Mom there for a good Denver sandwich.
They also had that great rubbery faux cheesecake dessert but you needed an elderly escort.
