Little Batgirl - Comic Panels of the Week

These are four panels from 'Batman Confidential 30'. The story involves a young Barbara Gordon being put in a most impossible situation. She is asked by Bad Cop (who wants to die for his crimes) to kill him before Bad Cop uses his knife on the Commissioner, her father. We soon see the intelligence and courage she will display in the future as both Batgirl and Oracle by showing the depth of her problem solving skills. She has NO fear of the criminal or even Batman. Their brief interaction is perfect. Anyone who can get even a smirk out of the Dark Knight is someone worthy of his notice. (click to see larger panel)
