And I just have to say that this puppet never felt the need to work 'blue' like Redd Foxx did and it didn't hurt her career one bit. Sock puppets don't have to say the 'f' word or the 'c' word or the 'l' word just to get a laugh.

Lambchop! Yay! I loved her as a kid, so much so that I made my own sock puppet version of her but it wasn't a very good replica. I was only six at the time and becuase I couldn't sew I had to use scotch tape to put her eyes on. Oh, and I always loved that Lambchop was so girlie. Did you ever notice how she always had her legs politely crossed all lady-like whenever she was on Shari's knee? Luv it! - G
I grew up on Lambchop. She's just so sensitive and adorable and I couldn't handle the episodes when she was crying.
