I love these early photographs. This one is especially cool because it was taken at the time when both horsedrawn carriage and motor cars were both being used for transportation. (click to enlarge)

Amazing photos!
I love old buildings...
In the panorama, most of those buildings are now distant memory...but that church, and the square building behind it, are still there. The square building is the Guaranty Building. It's one of Buffalo's architectural crown jewels (more here), in a city that has a lot of great old architecture.
It looks like a terrific city. I would love to tour that old stuff.
