My Town Is Perfect For Me

Except for the fact that we don't have one of these. Just another way that the 'Man' tries to keep a Canadian brother down.

They're not that great. I've never been a fan of White Castle.

I understand that... so many northern things I could go for. Like Hot N Now for instance.

Yeah, but we've got White Spot! Love those Triple-O Burgers!

I like the 'Wet Spot'. Total over the border copywrite infringment.

No, no, no. I hadn't had WC in many many years and only had disappointing memories of grease-sogged buns and floppy, spongy meat. Mrs. Shambles memories bordered on stomach-turning.

Last year my daughter - who hadn't had the pleasure - had been lobbying for at least 5 years "Why can't we get White Castle - just once?" So when Mrs. Shambles was out of town, I surprised Irish Dancer by answering "Okay."

2 cheeseburgers later she said "Ugh, never again" and we haven't heard about it since.

So Calvin is not missing nuttin'. Is that what you are saying? I am too in love with Wendy anyways to ever cheat on her. Okay maybe some time in a motel with the Colonel every 21 days.

I have had nothing but good experiences with White Castle since they started being added onto gas stations in the Indiana/Illinois area... It has been a few years since I've been in those areas, but it was awesome!! If you do make it to the states some time, I'd recommend going to one, but try and fine a newer one... I think the older one's just aren't up to snuff any more..

I want to just try it once - have the Harrod and Kumar experience. Thanks for your advice Noah.

Used to eat 16 at a time but you get to a certain age and more than two can be potentially lethal to your innards. Ugh. I hate that.

I know a certain mutual acquaintance who once said she had more than once considered driving the 200 miles or so to the closest one just to try them fresh as opposed to the store bought approximations.
