Big fan of Gorey. This envelope makes a thousand different stories explode in my brain because of the richness of what are essesntially throw-away characters. I love the cat and the little kid in the cape and cowl. That is comedy gold right there. I miss the days of letter writing sometimes. It wasn't immediate gratification but I was contact with someone else out in the real world. The letters had weight both physically and spiritually.

His drawings had that particular quality about them that is hard to put in words. Cozy and familiar.
