The very first kitty I have ever had I brought home in a pop tart box and she lived to be 24 years old. She was a beautful Calico that we named Stinky because he first poop was on a comic book of mine.

A box must be a cat's natural habitat. I was just watching the 1942 psychological thriller film "Cat People" earlier tonight and theres a scene near the beginning were a guy buys a kitten from a pet store and puts it in a shoebox. I don't think you could get away with doing that today.
So cute is that little kitten and the other commenter mentions the original Cat People movie which is a fantastic budget movie from RKO i think it was.
The problem with a box of cat, is that you're never settled with just one.
Given her predilections, that box should have said "poop tarts." But clearly her regularity ensured a long, long life.
