Actually sir, MY frustrations were NOT addressed.

The only guy in the bunch I would want to punch was Bozo.

"Why would I want to punch Batman..??"

But, agreed, his bag would make a cool centerpiece for most vintage collections now.

NOW, that bein' said, if they had 'the villains' on the flipside of Popeye and Batman (Bluto and Joker, perhaps..), that would have made a lot more sense.

I wonder why these declined in popularity among kids? Or did parents think they promoted violence?

I'd be afraid of punching Popeye or Batman. Both of them are likely to retaliate.

But if you could take Popeye you would feel like a stud.

Well, of course, punchin' a dolphin on the other hand.., jeez.

'Who would punch Flipper..?'

Now Bullwinkle.., HE looks like he's ready to open a can of whipass.

Those only used to make me more upset since they'd never stay down. It wasn't an outlet for children's anger, it was a lesson in futility.

And those kids that got too angry and cut their bop bags beared shecial watching too.

I would never cut mine. That's wasteful. I buried them upside down. It's the only way they'll learn.

Worked for many of those Saints who like these bop bags were a bit too full of themselves.
