I asked for this book as a kid but my mother thought it would give me too many nightmares so I didn't get it. I just wanted to see all the freaks without going to the Mall first. I love the compilation books with Strange Stories, Amazing Facts being my most favorite. So many cool stories and oddities to read about. I always have my much beloved ratty copy around where I can get to it easily.

Man I LOVED that book.
I bet if I dug deep enough in my latest book I could find things in it that were directly influenced by SS&AF.
You write books or are you talking about reading it. It was always the book I carried around with me. When I got first online it was the topics from the book that caught my attention the most.
The ones I write.
Well you can only write about what you know.
Great Book ...owned a copy for Years...
I have that book as well. SO MUCH FUN!
