What Was Your Favorite Childhood Movie?
"Your Majesty, Are you not the true and rightful successor to the throne of Marabia? And has not Allah, delivered this into my hands from the wonderous waters waters of the Fountain of Destiny itself, to rest upon your head."

I liked the movie...Guess what...It is on my list to get one day.
Liked?? LIKED??? It should be on top of your list. It's a classic.
Favorite Childhood Movie? Good question. I know that as a kid, you can be picky about a lot of things, and that when you see something you like on TV, you want to watch it over and over again.
I don't know that we owned many VHS Tapes when I was a kid so we often just rented the same thing over and over, which I imagine was very exhausting to my parents.
The Star Wars Trilogy, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Toy Story and the Duck Tales Movie leap immediately to mind, though I couldn't say for sure which one we watched the most frequently.
While "Beauty and the Beast" has gotten better with age, "Aladdin" isn't the same as I remember it being. I'm hesitant to go back and watch The Lion King because most of what I remember is visuals and set pieces rather than the actual story and fear that aspect may not stand up to my adult scrutiny.
I probably went to more theatres than you did. You came along right at the time of video tapes - watch on demand.
I remember going to the theaters frequently for certain movies. I think I saw Lion King at least twice, A Bug's Life, The Phantom Menace, Toy Story 2 were all things we prided ourselves on seeing multiple times.
I think I might have seen Spider-Man at the theater close to three or four times, as it was released at that time were I still had a childish excitable nature and entering into that gradual independence were I was able to start going places on my own and was starting to use my own money more frequently.
So thats another movie, I'm kind of scared to watch again as I'm afraid it won't hold up.
