Life magazine photo spread? In color? Are you kidding me?

He really did have the best agent, because he got ranked up there with the classic monsters. Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolf Man and the like, all their movies came out in the '40s, but creature didn't make his splash (pun intended) until a decade after the trendsetters and still came out on top.

I think he really was the last of a mighty monster dynasty because after The Creature, every menace we got in movies after that was either a giant animal or some kind or a human slasher killer.; July 27, 2013 at 1:49 PM
