Great Post good Sir Kal ...really love Mr.Wrightston's work ( already had the "Red Death" image)...
Met him a couple of times ... he told me that it was good to meet a fan like me... we talked for a bit about his earlier "Horror Comics" work"... Cool Guy...
Dark and disturbing, so quite fitting. Two masters combined.
I have a volume of Poe stories with these panels in it. Found it in the dollar bin of a book store. They never knew what they had.
