It's A Collector's Christmas Miracle

 

I actually braved the mall last Thursday to help my Mom pick up some stuff. The toy aisle was riffled through and there was nothing Monster High related that I wanted. I did find that cool Wonder Woman Invisible Jet that I already posted about. They had a dozen of those.

As I was walking out there was a cart of stuff in front of customer service, waiting to be re-priced or returned to the shelves. I took a chance and asked the price for this Monster High Party Lounge Playset. I was listed at 64 dollars but was knocked down because the box arrived damaged. I got it for 24 FREAKING DOLLARS - and the only shipping required was me taking it home. The coolest part is that I got a new Spectra Vondergiest doll in a fresh outfit. Look how overjoyed he is with our new play set.

 

 

The lady in the line behind me seemed happier than I was with my score. She was a big Monster High fan and we were talking about the toys while I waited in line to pay. She said she would have paid 60 bucks for it if I had put it down and she almost thought about just fighting me for it but thought I looked like I had been in a holiday throw down or two. She was very funny for an older lady.
