Calvin's Canadian Cave Of Cool Manifesto
I forever stand vigilant to protect this planet from the myriad of forces that are always against us. Be it the octopus, zombies, aliens or the robots my team of human agents, and our feline allies, circle the globe in a never ending struggle for human freedom.
I learn all I can on every subject that interests me. I especially enjoy ancient history because in the past there are valuable lessons to be found. Also, if I ever get my time machine to work properly, it would be good to know a bit about possible destinations and what to expect when I get there.
I greatly appreciate beautiful design. Be it manufactured or found naturally I am fascinated by the process of invention. I am attracted to the unique, the strange, the haunted. I like to share what I find on this blog.
And not let us forget the 'Cephalopod Menace' who, if allowed to, would wrap their tentacles around all that is good and pure in this life and crush it until it remained no more. They are creatures of pure spite. Hate is all they know. Death is all they do. They are our most ruthless and determined enemy.
So we fight. Selena has the celebrity contacts, the cat is ruthless and without pity, Roosevelt's ghost has the experience and I do the wetwork.
Fighting for the future of the planet doesn't have to be a chore, however. We can take the time to appreciate all that is cool in this world even as we cut the octopus into bite sized chunks.
This is the reason there has always been and must forever be, a Cave of Cool. Be sure to wipe your feet before you enter.

Yeh but what do I know.
Agree with david. I know you'll disagree old bean but I think she has kind of made a bad decision.
She's lovely, she really is. But I agree with the other gents; the ink (on most people) doesn't work for me.
Wow. So I stand alone. Is that the way it is my brothers? Fine. I have been on that chunk of ice before. But not seal, nor polar bear not ice octopus has made me question my judgement. I am still a fan and you all are stupid butt heads. Sorry, had to be said.
C'mon, Cal, don't mince words, tell us how you REALLY feel.
Seriously, I find the female body beautiful without tats. It just seems so many with low esteem and wanting attention, just mark up what otherwise is a beautiful body. They've just had a life where everybody they valued told 'em otherwise.
You can call it 'art' all you want.. I call it sad.
I resemble that remark.
I think she can share or cover up as she chooses. She is beautiful inside and out and is an artist and chef and I love her various forms of artistic expression. This fills her soul. Owls mean a lot to her. Let the girl do what she wants and support her decisions because you would want the same respect for your decisions. She earned my support and respect and I still think it looks hot. I like nice tattoos on women.
She looks great with or without. I know she wanted that for a long time,waited till she got the new full-time job, then did what SHE wanted to. Go Dee.
I have over 100 hours of ink but all on my legs and upper arm, so I choose who sees it or doesn't.
