All Kinds Of Awesome

Okay, yes, Jennifer Lawrence’s Dior gown at the Golden Globes looked a little like a bedsheet with some belts around it. But we were still floored that Arrow hottie Colton Haynes spoofed her photobombing of Taylor Swift by, y’know, actually putting on a bedsheet with some belts.

 

I have many 100 problems with celebrity culture but Jennifer Lawrence isn't one of them. I liked the way Jennifer snuck up behind Taylor Swift on the stairs just so she could photobomb her. Jennifer should be focussing on climbing stairs (because she usually falls down them while wearing evening gowns) and not being a clown but that is our Jennifer and that is why I love her...almost as much as I love the shot that Colton Haynes from Arrow Tweeted out shortly after.

 

 

So Jennifer Lawrence and Colton Haynes both got a little attention at an AWARDS SHOW and did it in the kind of playful spirit that seems missing from major celebrity culture these days. Both knew exactly what they were doing and you know what? The result isnot mean but kinda sweet and funny. If I know anything about Jennifer Lawrence, it is that she will GET the joke. Colton honored the event using the medium of the times - Twitter and Instagram - and a classic moment of cool is born.
