If I could go back in time and change one of my collecting behaviors it would be to buy every single different piece of glassware that was offered by fast food restaurants. Right from Star Wars through to Lord of The Rings I have only a few examples of what was available but all of them look beautiful.
At my very first visit to a McDonald's I got a Mayor McCheese glass that I treasured and kept safe throughout my childhood. Of course, like all my other childhood stuff, I no longer have it today. It sits on the bottom of the ocean like the Titanic.

though very beautiful, they were extremely toxic what with all the cadmium paint. the more recent ones use non toxic paint but back in the day?...i can't believe we all sucked cool-ade from them all day long.
