There I nothing I love more than my own godly visage. Michael understood that when he designed and painted the Cave of Cool header that you see every time you visit. This is a great gift to me and hits me right where I live. I may say I have no friends but I am wrong. I may not get to see them daily but my Internet friends are real and the best because they love me regardless of my faults.

That is really Awesome.....!!!!
You, good Sir , as Odin... Great image...!!! (and he is a talented artist)...
I appreciate the effort a great deal. It's the everyday miracles that keep us going sometime.
Yes!! You rock an awesome Odin beard!
Hi Cal -- Just popping in from New Brunswick to say -- This is fabulous and I LOVE IT!!!
Thanks for taking holiday time to express that.
cal, i am glad that the image made you happy! I was hoping that it would! However, I cannot take credit for the painting, that was a portrait of Odin by Russian artist Konstantín Alexeyevich Vasilyev (who died in a mysterious train accident in 1970... the KGB may have been involved. No one is sure)
Nor can I claim any responsibility for Chris Hemsworth as Thor. I never thought it would be a good idea to have an Australian surfer playing a Norse god, but then, what do I know?
In fact, aside from the Photoshop mash-up the only thing I can actually take credit for is the eye patch, and I don't really want to do that because I'm afraid I did a substandard job.
Nevertheless, I'm so happy you like it!
My brother, the fact that you threw this together because I somehow inspired you to do so is a gift to me. I am blessed and humbled to call you friend. Once again you nailed it. Thanks again for thinking about me. I love it.
And the caption was great and a nice touch.
