This is truly the best modern day Christmas specials and you almost NEVER see it on TV. I know I would replace one of the Christmas cartoons that they show ad nausium every holiday season with this gem. A great story and a very nice ending that always tears me up. Bill the Cat is EMMY BAIT and the representation of Santa who speaks in rhymes is a brilliant characterization. Can't recommend this one highly enough.
