I like these future stories that show the possible endings to some of our favorite heroes. Most of the time it gives the creators a chance to work outside of the strict NEW 52 continuity. The future is always a cool place to visit in comics. I won't pay six bucks for a 3D cover - I have enough 'gimmick' covers in my comic book collection. The 90s were a dark time for us collectors.

In the blogs you visit are you seeing the same hatred for this storyline that I am seeing? The free one that showed Black Canary's face cut off had people losing their minds with rage at DC.
Ah no wonder she has to use the Lazarus pit. Another example of the 'girlfriend in the fridge' attitude towards females characters over at DC. They had another character raped and then lit on fire in recent years. Not a good sign.
