To The Center Of The Earth

I really like the steampunk inspired leather work of Tom Banwell. I would go so far as to say that if you are a doing a remake of '20 Thousand Leagues Under The Sea' or 'Journey To The Center Of The Earth' then this is the guy that should be on the top of your costume designer list.

And that's another thing, Hollywood. If you are so into remakes these days, why can't you remake those two great Jules Verne stories. It could be a steampunk and adventure fan's wet dream

I would feel claustrophobic!

Well then maybe we won't choose you to participate in our little adventure if you feel that way.

This helmet is almost perfect: it just misses the "scratch the back of my head" gimmick. I'd wear it to take the subway on not so warm days.

That part comes with the accesories package.

And what exactly do you concider a 'not so warm day' in Mexico? 20 degrees celcius.

Now that's a nice helmet.

Not only is Tom an awesome mask maker with incredible attention to detail, he is also a right pleasant fellow. i agree he should be costuming some future films as well.

I like how if you got caught in a cave-in you could dig yourself out with your cheeks.

Just put your arms along side your body and point you head up.
