OMG - Since September 2008 to June 2010 I worked daily to reach my silent goal of 5000 posts. Of course, since I combined the features of both a tumblr and a straight blog in one place (because I like all my toys kept together), it was easier to reach that goal. This does not, however, diminish the sheer awesomeness of the achievement.
I have filled up 91% of my allowed space from BLOGGER so I doubt I will reach 6000 before running out. I know I will have no trouble finding content. In fact I actually do follow a pretty rigid editing process.
Ideas have about a day to either be posted or they just go away. Somethings come back around often because they are my pet interests but I still regret the ones that get away. Even my brain can hold only so much coolness.
My unlimited love to those of you who follow and comment. I know it can't be easy to like everything I talk about so thanks for turning a blind eye to those things that make you uncomfortable. I would like to tell you that I will stop those kind of posts but we both know how silly a pronouncement that would be.
In celebration of this event, I hope to have a new header up soon. I commissioned a piece of art from the fabulous Becca based on everything that is greatest about the Cave of Cool and I have every confidence that what she came up with will be terrific.

That is what I don't know. I refuse to delete anything so I think I just go on to the Cave of Cool II and hope people follow.

To ensure the future posting of pictures and stuff create more blog authors for your blog. I post under several different variations of my main blog name so I can always be assured of being able to post lots more stuff. You can have up to 100 blog authors on one blog. And congrats on the milestone.

I also appreciate the suggestions that will let me go on without having to create a new Cave of Cool once I get near my limit.
I like the idea of creating new identities to post on my blog. I once ran for President of my univesity under the name 'Dr Henk Raoul' and actually got over 1500 votes. I sense a return of that magnificent latino bastard.
He was a plastic surgeon and member of the pro bowler's tour. And quite a 'bon vivant' if I remember correctly. Plus the ladies liked him and you know I am all about providing love for the ladies.
