I loved the show 'Angel'. Most of the reason for that was because of this girl. They gave her such meaty story lines and we all watched her transform in front of our eyes.

She started as a bone skinny girl with the worst sense of entitlement ever. I hated her screen persona and her real life attitudes.

But then she had children in real life and she became a woman...a beautiful woman. Somehow in the Hollywood environment she let go of what wasn't important. That is when she earned my endless admiration.

Of all the pictures I have seen of her I think this one is my favorite. This is what true beauty looks like. This is the kind of image the image makers should be promoting to young girls.

The saddest part is that in study after study this is the kind of body type that the majority of men prefer.

Being a girl is just difficult. Some days I don't know how they do it.
