Mister Miracle - my vote for Jack Kirby's greatest creation. Long rumored to be based on fellow comic artist and amateur escape artist Jim Steranko. Scott Free (one of the great character names of all time) was the son of All Father, the leader of New Genesis. In a move that was to insure peace between New Genesis and Apocalypse, Scott was swapped with Darkseid's son Orion and instead of being raised in the beauty of New Genesis, Scott was subjected to abuse and torture until he was able to escape the slave pits on Apocalypse and become Mister Miracle, the greatest escape artist on three worlds.
