I like a scamp who has no fear of calling people on their bullshit. Boy do we need more pundits like Bill Maher in this world. Even without his writers his wit is razor sharp. There are not a lot of progressives in the media (like my beloved Stephanie Miller) who echo my beliefs. Plus I need something fresh to read in the bathroom. If you understand what I am talking about then you are my people.

I remember grabbing the first book of New Rules when was put out. Some of the jokes don't work quite as well on the printed page without the visual queues but the writing is always quick witted and sharp.
I so appreciate smart humor like his. I even watched Jay Leno the other night because Bill was a guest and I LOATH the 'Tonight Show'. Jay is the devil and the least funny man on the planet. I have always hated him, even back in the day when he was on Letterman every other week.
