Movies I Love To Hate

This movie is so goofy but at the same time it's impossible to look away. The story works out in the end and all the threads pay off. I still can't believe that anyone is convinced by Val Kilmer's bad disguises. Hannibal Smith on the A-Team was a better disguise artist. But if you can buy that and all the over the top acting, this one is fun. I just hate that I like it so.

Roger Moore will always be The Saint to me.

I've never seen it, but it looks like he's a overcoat and fedora away from being some kind of Golden Age comic book character."The Saint" is a name that just feels right at home alongside other pulp heroes like The Shadow, The Spirit, The Spider, The Sphinx, The Scarab, The Spectre, etc.

Its interesting you call this "a movie you love to hate" as I was just recently making a list of movies I felt were "overrated" or "classics that haven't aged well" but had a hard time coming up with movies that I really "hated".

I so remember Roger Moore as The Saint and I was very much against this remake but Val was hot at the time. I got dragged to it expecting to hate it but I loved it...so I love to hate this movie. Anyone can point out the crappy parts and I can't disagree with them but like Resident Evil this movie is bullet proof to me.
