I have lost 10 friends on Facebook over this Zimmerman thing. I was going to do a Controversial Thursday post about it but since no one comments anymore on my blog anyways...I figure what would be the point of it.

If you feel the need to express your opinion than do so my Brother. Fans come and go. Look at me. I look successful but I only have the same 12 people commenting with me. Is that a lot of work for only 12 people. Yeh, but I take what I can get.

Just call us the Dirty Dozen.

You have more than 12 readers, Cal. It's just that we're the 12 who take the initiative to comment. The rest are content just to be lurkers.

Yeah...initiative!

And cleanliness too. We are the cleanest Dirty Dozen with initiative. With a pinch of persistence.

And a whole snootful of opinions which I appreciate.

I love the opinions..., just don't defend yourself against anyone of a different color attacking you.

It could be considered a 'hate crime' here in the U.S.

Laughing my head off at how Stevie Wonder is 'boycotting' Florida. Jeez, like it's Apartied or something..

Get a grip, folks..

Where's the outrage from the LGBT and Hispanic communities..?

Jeantel called Zimmerman a 'gay predator'. If a conservative host said that, national outrage would ensue, yelling 'hate crime' and they'd be booted off television.

The silence is deafening. I enjoy how these groups twist and turn their reasoning to fit the situation. Obviously both sides are guilty to some extent, but it's just comical.

Ah, 'all the world's a stage'.

I’m not even going to get into the race aspect of it. Here are facts;

1. Guy with gun gets out of his car (by choice, not because he felt threatened) to accost someone, that he doesn’t like the looks of.
2. Guy with gun gets a beating and uses gun to kill unarmed guy.

That’s not right. To take someone else’s life and then get off scot-free. I don’t think it was premeditated murder. Perhaps negligent manslaughter.

I don’t care what race either of them are. One guy killed another, for no reason and then he got no punishment. That’s wrong and that’s what’s burning me up about it.

No punishment for a death that was hinky from the get go. Switch the races, different result. That is the reason for the outrage. End of story.
