Doreen Green AKA Squirrel Girl. Let’s get over the fact that her powers are like something out of the Tick for a moment (see the animated series), Squirrel Girl for all her over the top ridiculousness is actually a very fleshed out character and a bit of a badass. She’s a socially awkward person in her early 20s but so incredibly self aware that she IS the majority of tumblr users.
She’s self aware, awkward and is not ashamed to be who she is.
We can all learn something from Squirrel Girl.
You can never have enough Squirrel Girl.
(Also, she once beat Dr Doom)
Squirrel Girl is a dangerous opponent who is always underestimated by her adversaries, primarily due to her cute appearance and squirrel-like powers. She has defeated powerful foes including Dr. Doom, Thanos, Deadpool, and Wolverine, among others. Squirrel Girl is currently the nanny for Luke Cage and Jessica Jones' baby, Danielle.
Seems I have written a post about Squirrel Girl before.

It's just hard to take anyone named "Squirrel Girl" seriously. By definition, she's gotta be nuts and live in your attic, amiright?
I agree, Squirrel is a great, and even necessary character in the ever darkening Marvel Universe. Her uncompromising ethics and chipper attitude are very welcome. I don't know if she could hold a solo series in the current market, (even if her TV Tropes page is huge!) but putting her as a supporting character in the Avengers was genius. And really when is the last time we've seen a female character used for levity rather than fanservice?
