Well ..first of all where the hell is Asterix the Gaul... Then...why are the Kenner Super Powers figures on the same shelf as Wizard of Oz and A team and Raiders and Bo Duke? That just seems weird to me. What is it you spotted Cal?
THANK YOU Big J. That is so wrong. Cacophonous would be tied up and gagged for a month if he tried to ride the CHIEF'S SHEILD! And that shows that the Asterix collector has no knowledge of what they are collecting. I have deep love for ASTERIX.
BJ Honeycutt...Trap was Maclean Stevenson...and an original tv cast member. Beej came later. I never knew there were MASH figures though...but it figures.
Asterix and Tin Tin were not part of my childhood...neither were on TV when I was in my formitive years. I got my formal education strictly through Bronze aged Marvel and DC comics....and lots... I mean LOTS of TV. So I feel I too have a proper education. But I know my MASH !!!
I forever stand vigilant to protect this planet from the myriad of forces that are always against us. Be it the octopus, zombies, aliens or the robots my team of human agents, and our feline allies, circle the globe in a never ending struggle for human freedom.
I learn all I can on every subject that interests me. I especially enjoy ancient history because in the past there are valuable lessons to be found. Also, if I ever get my time machine to work properly, it would be good to know a bit about possible destinations and what to expect when I get there.
I greatly appreciate beautiful design. Be it manufactured or found naturally I am fascinated by the process of invention. I am attracted to the unique, the strange, the haunted. I like to share what I find on this blog.
And not let us forget the 'Cephalopod Menace' who, if allowed to, would wrap their tentacles around all that is good and pure in this life and crush it until it remained no more. They are creatures of pure spite. Hate is all they know. Death is all they do. They are our most ruthless and determined enemy.
So we fight. Selena has the celebrity contacts, the cat is ruthless and without pity, Roosevelt's ghost has the experience and I do the wetwork.
Fighting for the future of the planet doesn't have to be a chore, however. We can take the time to appreciate all that is cool in this world even as we cut the octopus into bite sized chunks.
This is the reason there has always been and must forever be, a Cave of Cool. Be sure to wipe your feet before you enter.

Actually... I see a BJ Honeycutt MASH figure. I thought it was Murdock at first.
And why is cacophonous on chief vitalstatistiks' shield?

Mikeboy? Who is Murdock? You mean Trapper?
Murdock is from the A team
Well that whole shield thing went right over my head, (not my time period), but sure that's Trapper John.
Why is the bard in place of the Chief? Are ther recreating a comix I missed? Nah.
Thank you for knowing your Asterix. It's a sign of a cultured man. You should also know who Tin Tin is.
I didn´t had the chance to read much Tin Tin, it wasn´t published in México. However I borrowed and read a few, translated to esperanto.

I have the same as you do Mikeyboy with that dash of the continental. A more refined gentleman I would be. I could go toe to doe with you on MASH too.
"What about her?" (referring to Klinger) - Colonel Flag
Sam - (Pat Morita) "She's my wife."
Sidney Freidman (Psychiatrist) - "That's a very interesting joke."
Sam (flipping him a poker chip) - thanks for seeing me.
Yes well...we Yanks are a bit on the ignorant side I'll admit.
We were deprived certain high points of literature and entertainment.
