This has long been my idea for a beautiful holiday story. Mine was about a moose in Canada who hears of this thing called Christmas which he mishears as Chris Moose (his name) and he starts to wonder why people at the truck stop keep wishing each other a 'Merry Chris Moose'. Why was he suddenly so famous? Why was everyone acting so weird this time of year? And why does a moose frequent an isolated Northern truck stop. Maybe it's for the Timbits.
By stowing away on the back of a truck he goes to the big city of Moose Jaw (see what I did there?) to learn the true meaning of Christmas and learn a little bit about who it means to be Chris Moose.
It's a tale of growth and understanding among a dumb forest animal and the city which alternates between helping him and hurting him. Finally it's the smelly hippies who save him from becoming part of the gun club's holiday feast. A lot is going on in this book. But apparently someone has stolen my joke so for copyright reasons I can't have them steel my genius story idea as well.

Better to go to Moose Jaw than Moosomin. More going on.
Sounds like the same kind of misunderstanding as occurred in "Olive, the Other Reindeer", written and produced by Simpsons creator Matt Groening.

NOOOOOOOOO....doesn't he have enough money in the world? Drew Barrymore did Olive's voice in the cartoon.
I love this idea. I swear, you have so many great ideas and you know some artists. You should work on an animated project. You write it and get other people to work on producing it. I'd definitely watch it!
