At Home With The Cat

Yeah, he’s a small tiger, but he still looks to be big enough to take your arm off -and he’s hungry! If it were me, that cub would have my pizza. Jonas was not a household pet; he lived at Bowmanville Zoo in Ontario, Canada. When Kevin Thatcher recorded this video in 2008, Jonas was six or seven months old. Zoo employees would take turns taking the cub home overnight so he could be fed every three hours or so and enjoy the company of people. When he grew up, Jonas became a movie actor when he starred in the film Life of Pi.

Back when I was going to school in Columbus I remember there was a "Lost Tiger" poster stapled to the telephone pole outside my apartment.

I thought the tiger in Life of Pi was CGI. Shows you how much I know.

That tiger deserved an Academy Award for Life of Pi.

P.S. Professor Chaos, they used a real tiger for controlled scenes but a CGI tiger for the scary scenes.
