These are by Darwyn Cooke and of course are alternates that have nothing to do with the story between the covers. I am a big fan of Cooke's style ever since I read his classic story New Frontier which told the story of the rise of the DC Superheroes with WWII looming in the distance. The perfect tale for fanboys and newbies alike. I understand from Brother Mike DeSanto that these are just a part of the set being released tomorrow. I hope to share the rest of them with you soon.

Super nice guy too, met him several times at megacon. Always takes time to sign a comic or say "hello".
The Catwoman one is especially striking.
Much better than the gimmicks we've been getting lately!
