It's almost impossible to tell a story of complexity above the "Dick and Jane" level without some sort of viewpoint or message coming through. These days such people are on a such a hair trigger about the
"liberal agenda" that they could only be satisfied by stories that worked so hard to eliminate any such message that they would, in fact, be blatant propaganda for an exclusionist and reactionary world-view -- and blatant propaganda never makes for good stories.

It might also be worth their while to ponder why it is that almost all creative people are liberals.

Plus right wing stories are boring and cruel and obvious and I hate predictable and obvious.
