Nothern Lights

There is nothing more spectacular to view in the night sky than the aurora borealis or the Northern Lights. Caused by the collision of charged particles in the Earth's magnetosphere and solar winds, they produce a ribbon of color viewed easiest in the northern hemisphere. I was going over some old pictures of mine from when I lived on Baffin Island but since my stupid scanner is fritzing out I will have to share pictures nicked from another site. They are magically similar.
