Advertising Hall Of Fame

I always loved this packaging. The message is - everything is okay when you catch on fire as long as your junk remains unburned.

They got away with everything back in the old days. Somebody had to first cross that line before people took a second look and said. "Eh - maybe not this particular artwork for our product." Though how else do you get to the point that this brand of underwear is fireproof?

Why you would NEED such garments frightens me a little. Was there a rash of underwear fires around 1900? And if there was, I want to know a little more about that. Why did this 'trend' stop? You really don't hear the words fire and underwear in the same sentence unless it was that Christmas 'Underwear Bomber' guy. Its the only time I ever really heard of that happening.

And that is another thing. How embarrassing is it for you to have that criminal nickname? You know that 'shoe bomber' guy is happy that finally someone stupider than him came along. Merry Frickin' Christmas Buddy Terrorist!
